Our Sussex office opened for business in 2007 with a staff of three who live in and around the county town of Lewes.
Having enjoyed six years of sustainable growth we now have five permanent members of staff, three seasonal workers and are probably the largest dedicated ecology team in the county.
Originally based out of a small serviced office in the centre of Lewes, when the team grew we moved to a larger converted barn on the
outskirts. The team in Sussex have taken on an increasing complexity of projects and now boast a portfolio of work that covers everything from single house extensions, to historic building renovations, housing and supermarket developments, wind farms and large-scale strategic land assessments.
Our client base has expanded to include a number of forward-thinking local architect firms and planning consultants, as well local authorities, Natural England and large multidisciplinary engineering firms.
This issue of The Ecology Consultancy’s regular news briefing is made up of topical ecology articles written by Sussex-based staff and summarises some of the wide variety of development and conservation projects we have been involved in. Interspersed with the articles are testimonials from some of our clients, many thanks to them all for taking the time to provide these.
