News from our Sussex office

Thursday, October 10th, 2013

We are currently involved in some high profile projects in Brighton and look forward to further involvement in the MORPH project on the Rive Ouse with Royal Haskoning.

Our resident green infrastructure expert Ben Kimpton is working closely with Brighton and Hove County Council ecologist Matthew Thomas, on a pilot project assessing the potential for retrofitting green roofs to buildings in the city.

We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Avalon LLP on gaining planning permission for their site in Newhaven after a very protracted process.

Our team has been involved at this site since 2006 and we look forward to helping realise the final scheme.

New staff member, Laurie Jackson, joins us this month.  She comes from work on the Northern Devon Nature Improvement Area Project and previously worked with the Sussex Wildlife Trust.

We will run some more ecology CPD events in Brighton over the coming months and will be sending out invitations soon.  If you would like to be included on our mailing list please email marketing@ecologyconsultancy.co.uk
