Tracy has been working for The Ecology Consultancy’s East Anglia team since 2008. Her principal focus is protected species with an emphasis on surveying for reptiles, great crested newts and bats. She holds Natural England survey licences for bats, great crested newts and dormice.
Tracy’s skills include project management of large-scale residential development schemes and windfarm infrastructure projects. She has recently been involved in designing and implementing mitigation programmes for bats, great crested newts and reptiles on several such developments, ensuring that projects ran to schedule and were resourced appropriately. This included the production of Natural England European Protected Species Mitigation (EPSM) licences.
Tracy regularly writes and reviews reports including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs) and protected species as well as ecological management plans in support of planning applications.
Tracy is also responsible for providing the GIS expertise within the Norwich office, creating technical drawings using MapInfo and ArcGIS software as well as managing the mobile mapping facilities within the office.
