Tom has over eight years experience in ecological consultation, prior to which he worked as an applied ecological field worker overseas. He is a protected species specialist with a keen interest in mammals and birds and currently holds Natural England survey licences for bats, dormice and great crested newts.
He is a competent project manager with particular experience in overseeing the ecological assessment and management of large infrastructure projects. Tom has coordinated complex and wide scale field surveys, and authored numerous species reports, Ecological Impact Assessments, Habitat Regulation Screening Assessments, Statements to Inform, Management Plans, Method Statements and protected species license applications. Tom is currently acting as a project manager of the country south section of the proposed High Speed Two development.
