Sarah BSc PGC MCIEEM has over ten years’ professional experience as an ecological consultant. Sarah has project managed and undertaken numerous ecological projects across the UK for both public and private sector schemes, including rail, power, energy and residential infrastructure. Sarah’s responsibilities extend to managing ecology projects and teams for multi million pound infrastructure projects such as HS2.
Sarah is experienced in carrying out habitat surveys, and has an expertise in surveying for and advising on protected species (in accordance with best practise guidelines), including reptiles, amphibians, bats and badgers. Sarah holds a Natural England Class Licence for bats (level 2), and has held EPSM (European Protected Species Mitigation) licences for projects impacting upon bat roosts. Sarah has also implemented numerous EPSM licences on projects associated with bats and great crested newts.
Sarah has a Management Board level responsibility for Marketing, Business Development, Occupational Health & Safety in the company and chairs the working groups. Part of Sarah’s objectives are to ensure that Occupational Health & Safety is a positive and forward thinking culture throughout the company, that performance is monitored, analysed and remedial actions are implemented, and that the company is compliant with regulations and legislation.
