Ben Kimpton Dip(Hort) BSc MSc MCIEEM is based in our Lewes Office and has been a consultant ecologist for 15 years. He is an experienced field surveyor and project manager on a wide range of sites with diverse ecological constraints and opportunities.

He specialises in botanical work including National Vegetation Classification. He has a solid understanding of protected species and regularly writes and reviews planning documents following British Standards for Biodiversity BS42020:2013. Ben has worked closely with The Green Infrastructure Consultancy and understands the technical requirements and wider benefits of green infrastructure. He was a member of Building Research Establishment’s Ecology Task Group 2008-2017 and is an active member of Brighton and Hove Building Green.

Ben will be responsible for project management, client liaison, survey and delivery of agreed outputs.
