An informative Breakfast Briefing for architects, developers and planners at the King’s Centre in Norwich at 11am on the 10th of October. Senior Ecologist Danny Thomas will set out how we survey for protected species and how finding them on your site means that the relevant surveys must be programmed into your project.
Danny has a sound understanding of UK and European nature conservation legislation and experience, undertaking Habitat Regulations Assessment (HRA) for developments in the vicinity of European Protected Sites. He is a protected species ecologist and holds licences for dormice and great crested newts.
He is also an experienced bird specialist with a British Trust for Ornithology ringing licence and schedule 1 licence for various bird species, in particular barn owl.
