“We sought assistance from the Ecology Consultancy to undertake a range of ecological surveys for a large, catchment wide, river restoration project in East Sussex. Surveys included initial protected species scoping surveys adjacent to the river, followed by targeted protected species surveys for Kingfishers, water voles and reptiles. They also produced a reptile mitigation plan, that included fencing and the creation of log piles to provide additional reptile habitat.
