Living Roofs and Walls

ECL has been working with a team of partners including Dusty Gedge, Clear Environmental Consultants Ltd and Savills Hepher Dixon, to carry out research for the Greater London Authority in support of amendments to the Further Alterations to the London Plan (FALP) with regard to a Policy on Living Roofs. Background information on the typology and benefits, including cost, of living roofs was researched, as well as an analysis of living roof policies from around the world. This work has been published by the Mayor and has helped form a new policy on Living Roofs for the latest version of the London Plan.
