Our ecologists Wendy MacFarlane, Rosie Wichelow and Sabrina Bremner were much in demand last week at the Palmstead Soft Landscape Workshop in Ashford, Kent.
Over 300 delegates from professional landscapers, planners, developers and planting designers flocked to their stand to hear how ecologists can help improve habitats within a landscape, using native and non-native planting, as well as beneficial management to create optimum conditions for a range of species. Beautiful meadow flowers from The Sussex Prairie added interest.
The Ecology Consultancy team is expert in BREEAM and Code for Sustainable Homes and is currently advising on the landscape and habitat elements of new developments in London, proposed by forward thinking Australian company, Lend Lease.
