Showcasing greener cities at Ecobuild, 4-6 March 2014

Thursday, February 27th, 2014

The Ecology Consultancy will be joining forces again with the Green Roof Consultancy at this year’s Ecobuild to promote greener cities.

Based in the Biodiversity Pavilion, we will be showcasing some of our most successful projects. Ecobuild is always a good opportunity for us to talk about our work installing large and small green infrastructure schemes, so come and see us on Stand S1871 - our ecologists will be happy to speak to you. We will also be presenting as part of the programme in the Biodiversity Lounge.

Ben Kimpton, The Ecology Consultancy, will present a talk as part of the ‘Nature and the Built Environment’ session, at 2.50pm on Tuesday 4 March. He will draw on his work with both The Ecology Consultancy and the Green Roof Consultancy, and use his experience in Brighton as a source of four case-studies.

Dusty Gedge, the Green Roof Consultancy, will speak at 1pm on Wednesday 5 March about greening urban areas at every development opportunity. He will show how green roofs, living walls and rain gardens, all help mitigate climate change.
