On 1st November 2018 The Ecology Consultancy, Temple and Arbeco celebrated their inaugural joint annual reception on the banks of the river Thames at The Institute of Engineering and Technology on Savoy Place.
The evening was attended by over 80 different organisations within construction and development, with guests travelling from up and down the country to catch up with old friends and acquaintances and to discuss the success of the past years’ collaborations over a glass of fizz and some delicious food. The room was filled with the sound of live jazz music, provided by The Eleventh Hour Jazz Trio, a familiar sound to those who have attended a Temple reception in the past.
During the event, Temple Group Management’s CEO and Chair, Mark Southwood addressed the crowd to celebrate the success of an eventful year for the group and the continuing close partnership between Temple and The Ecology Consultancy.
Growing the Family - Acquisition of Arbeco
In his speech, Mark mentioned that in October Temple Group Management completed the acquisition of Arbeco, the ecology, tree and habitat consultancy; allowing for further diversified environmental services for construction and habitat management for the groups’ clients.
Launch of The Southwood Foundation
Mark also announced the launch of the Southwood Foundation, set up to deliver meaningful change in the sustainability agenda, with the key themes being nature and decarbonisation. The starting point is an engagement programme across the professional community to bring holistic and innovative thinking to the many challenges we face.
Celebrating Achievements
