The Professional Series: Training for ecologists
Our senior team provides a series of training courses for professional ecologists and graduates – The Professional Series. This expert training draws on many years of experience and takes an applied approach to ecological work.
Our ecologist training courses for 2015 are:
- February 18: Bat Mitigation: Ideas, inspiration and innovation
- April 16: Essentials of Management for Senior Ecologists
- May 21: Hazel Dormice: Surveys, assessments and mitigation
- August 6: Habitat and Site Assessment for Invertebrates
- October 9: Aquatic Invasive Non-native Species: Identification and biosecurity practices
The following ecologist training courses from our Professional Series have been selected to be run as part of the CIEEM Professional Development Programme:
- June 5: Badgers: Mitigation and licensing (intermediate and advanced)
- September 4: Preliminary Ecological Appraisal: An applied approach
- September 24: EIA using Fish and Shellfish Data in Marine, Coastal and Estuarine Systems
- October 8: Introduction to Bat Surveys
- November 19: Water Framework Directive: An applied approach
