Local Authorities

The Ecology Consultancy works with a range of local authorities across the country at both the strategic and practical level

We work with local authority consortia, County Councils, Borough Councils and City Councils to provide cost-effective ecology services such as bat surveys and mitigation solutions, on schools, social housing, public spaces, demolition sites and development areas.

The Ecology Consultancy has successfully tendered for a number of frameworks, such as the construction service framework (London Boroughs of Richmond, Sutton and Merton) and the highways framework (Hampshire County Council).

At the strategic level we have worked with local authority planning departments on regional and local structural plans (Brighton & Hove City Council), have provided green infrastructure advice (City of London) and have conducted protected species surveys, mitigation services and habitat creation (Lee Valley).
