BREEAM, Code for Sustainable Homes and CEEQUAL are industry quality standards that award credits to construction and civil engineering projects based partly on the ecological value of each project.

To maximise the chances of earning credits in the ecology categories of each standard a suitably qualified ecologist should be consulted at the earliest opportunity to advise on areas of ecological value and how to enhance them.
