Jamie Devereux BSc has over 7 years’ experience working with GIS. For the last 4 years Jamie has been responsible for the management of incoming data, QA/QC processes, data analysis, and the timely delivery of mapping outputs and data packages for The Ecology Consultancy’s (TEC) “core” business. More recently he has developed and implemented a mobile mapping system for TEC. Jamie was responsible for coordinating the transition from paper-based mapping to an online digital platform.
Jamie has taken part in the co-ordination of mapping and data management for many Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), from renewable energy developments to large-scale transport infrastructure projects. He is adept at utilising and analysing large datasets from a variety of sources, from CAD vectors to raster aerial imagery. Jamie has proven experience of working with and manipulating spatial data with ArcGIS to meet the requirements of a variety of project types and stakeholders. Jamie has overall responsibility for the Quality Assurance and Quality Control of the GIS data and analysis processes including the delivery of all mapping and data products.
