The Ecology Consultancy is recruiting ecologists!
The Ecology Consultancy is committed to nurturing talent, developing people, and ensuring a friendly working environment that is shaped by their unique and vibrant company ethos.
We have exciting opportunities for ecologists to support emerging project needs including HS2. In particular, we’re seeking:
- Ecologists – If you have a minimum of two years’ experience and can lead surveys, we would like to talk to you. Experience of ECOW, badgers, Level1 and Level 2 bat license and/or Great Crested Newt license is desirable.
- Level 2 bat licensed ecologists – If you are interested in gaining your LANTRA CS 38 climber’s certificate. We will pay for you to do the training.
- Senior and Principal Ecologists
As a dynamic and growing business, we are searching for self-motivated and positive-minded Ecologists to work in the Midlands, North and South East offices. The successful candidates will be involved in all areas of our work, supporting clients in a vast range of different sectors. Responsibilities include carrying out habitat and protected species surveys, advising clients of constraints and survey requirements, and establishing opportunities for biodiversity enhancements.
Although you’ll be attached to one of our well-appointed offices, the project-based nature of our work means that there will be a requirement for travel, overnight stays and possibly longer periods of working away from home necessary to complete the contract.
We can offer a mixture of fixed term and permanent positions and will consider full and part time roles dependent on role and project needs.
